Through PTSA's Parents on the Playground (POP) program, parent volunteers can come to the Kindergarten or big playground to help assist the regular recess monitor staff. The POP program is a great way to visit with your kid(s) during the day, stay involved with the school, and meet other PRE parents!

Volunteer as little as one day a month, or five days a week. Only adult family members are allowed to volunteer for this program; siblings are not allowed to accompany the volunteering adult.

As a POP volunteer, you will sign up for a specific time slot(s), sign in with Kathy at the front office to get your badge, and then assist the recess monitors with anything that might come up.

 

Parents are asked to monitor RECESS ONLY, parents are not to come into the lunch rooms.

Before your volunteer slot, you will need to view a 20-minute training video that provides important information about volunteering for POP. You will be asked to sign an attestation at the front office, stating that you've reviewed the video, prior to volunteering. THIS ONLY NEEDS TO BE DONE ONCE! Please watch your e-mail for a link to the training video, it will be sent within 24 hours of your sign-up. (Please also check your spam folder!)
